Installing and upgrading WarehousePG Enterprise Manager

Install WarehousePG Enterprise Manager (WEM) manually by following the steps on each page in this section, or automate the process with the provided Ansible playbooks.

The installation process consists of the following steps:

  1. Verify the prerequisites.
  2. Install the observability stack — Prometheus, Loki, and Alertmanager. Skip this step if you already have these services running.
  3. Install WHPG Collector on your WarehousePG (WHPG) cluster.
  4. Install and configure WEM on your dedicated host.
  5. Install the host agent to enable privileged operations such as HBA editing.
